Den Haag – Vrijdagmiddag 3 december is er een enorme inzet van de politie gaande bij het OPCW (Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons) aan de Johan de Wittlaan in Den Haag.
Omstreeks 12:10 werden zo’n 30 politie-eenheden, drie ambulances en het Mobiel Medisch Team (MMT) gealarmeerd. Ter plaatse bleek een groep demonstranten het OPCW gebouw bestormd te hebben. De politie staat met grote getallen stand-by rondom het gebouw.
Wat er precies gaande is en de reden dat de ambulances en het MMT zijn gealarmeerd is niet bekend. De traumahelikopter is inmiddels retour, de gealarmeerde ambulances staan stand-by in de omgeving.
De politie is samen met de Mobiele Eenheid en de KMAR (Koninklijke Marechaussee) begonnen alle demonstranten aan te houden. Deze worden afgevoerd naar het politiebureau.

The Hague – Friday afternoon, December 3, there is an enormous effort by the police at the OPCW (Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons) on the Johan de Wittlaan in The Hague.
At 12:10 am, about 30 police units, three ambulances and the Medical Air Assistance (MAA; Mobile Medical Team; MMT) were alerted. On the spot, a group of protesters appeared to have stormed the OPCW building. The police are standing by in large numbers around the building.
It is not known what exactly is going on and the reason that the ambulances and the MAA/MMT were alerted. The Medical Air Assistance has since been returned, the alarmed ambulances are on standby in the area.
The police, together with the riot police and the KMAR (Koninklijke Marechaussee; Royal Military Police), have started to arrest all demonstrators. These are taken to the police station.
